Art In Room Gallery presented a group exhibition of new works by Los Angeles–based artists, including Sumire Kudo, Zoe Liu, Chris Rivas, Disha Prajapati, and others. On view from March 27 through April 6, 2025, the exhibition gathered film photography, abstract painting, and sculpture into a shared space of inquiry. Across these varied practices, the artists approach material and image as sites of observation and reflection. Taken together, the works consider the shifting contours of what may be called “normal,” opening a quiet dialogue around how everyday experience is shaped by cultural memory, personal history, and the conditions of contemporary life.

What is regular? That depends on who you ask. What feels normal to one person might be completely unfamiliar to another.

This exhibition challenges the idea of what’s "regular" by exploring personal perspectives, lived experiences, and how we define our own lives. Through various mediums, artists invite you to see the world through their eyes, question what you consider ordinary, and embrace the idea that different perspectives shape the future.

Here, regular isn’t a fixed idea—it’s a point of view.
